Get one today! You will not be disappointed! - I normally don’t write reviews but I am very impressed with this Solar generator that I just had to share my experience with it so far. I highly recommend this Jackery Solar 1000 generator. I live in Houston where we tend to lose power during hurricane season and needed something noise free, portable and easy to carry. I work from home and I need my internet and laptop to continue working. I plugged in my internet router and laptop at 9:30 am it’s now 10:30 pm (13 hrs later) and its still running with 40% power still left to go. I also fully charged 2 cell phones and a tablet!! I highly recommend this product and will definitely invest on another one! You will not be disappointed!

Lightweight, charge is fast and has great usage life - Why did you pick this product vs others?: I’ve been looking at these for several years to take camping so when I don’t want to run my generator, I can run my CPAP. After a full night, there was still 68% storage left. I’m very happy. Only took 25 minutes to fully charge plugged into the wall Nice compact unit. I would highly recommend!

Excellent Battery Performance - Why did you pick this product vs others?: I received this yesterday and immediately charged it to 100%. I bought this to use as a UPS for my high pressure setting CPAP machine. I unplugged the unit when I went to bed and turned on the 12 volt output port. I woke up with 79% battery left, so four plus nights not a problem. If I run into problems I will revisit this review, but after one night I am extremely pleased. 7/22/25 UPDATE: I ran for three nights, no problem. charged in car (EV) no problem. Remains 5 Star!

Updated Review - Original review below this. Jackery customer support did get a new unit back to me, arguably later than they advertised, however they did outreach to me about my experience, which I appreciate. I have these ordered under a separate account for work, the smaller units for inspectors and they have worked flawlessly to keep laptops and starlink powered in remote areas. I'm going to chalk up the delayed customer service based upon the holidays. When you put out thousands upon thousands of these products, it's not unusual to have a certain percentage fail for various reasons. Jackery is the premier provider of this type product, so part of the purchase is customer service knowing they are going to be around if something goes wrong with your unit. Personally I was unlucky on this particular unit as it died after 6 months for no reason I wasn't even using it. But with that said these things happen and so long as they are backing the warranty all good. All the other units that we purchased for work, they are all going strong. And my older jackery 500 still working great. The main reason I have these is for resiliency especially around wildfires, and power outages in Northern California. While I have a couple of inverter generators that will run 8 hours on a gallon of gas, they are a pain to take out during a three or four hour outage. The products offered by jackery can be a great tool in combination with regular generators. You can bring them inside your house and not worry about carbon monoxide poisoning or anything else. Original review I’ve been a loyal customer of Jackery for years, but my recent experience with the Jackery 1000 V2 and their customer service has left me extremely disappointed. The unit failed within six months with an error fault. I contacted customer service on November 19th, returned the unit before Thanksgiving, and was assured that a replacement would be shipped within two business days. It is now December 6th, and despite numerous follow-ups, I’ve only received vague responses that they are "looking into it." This is particularly disheartening given my history with Jackery. My first purchase, a Jackery 500, failed within a week of use about four years ago, but their customer service back then was outstanding. They promptly replaced the unit, which has worked flawlessly ever since. I’ve also purchased several units for work based on my prior positive experiences. I understand that occasional product failures happen—that’s not my issue. What I take issue with is the clear decline in both product reliability and customer service. Jackery's customer service was once a defining feature of the brand, but that no longer seems to be the case. If you’re considering a Jackery product, I recommend looking into alternative brands. While they were once a standout, my recent experience suggests their quality and service have significantly degraded.

Emergencies no problem with this unit – 1000/v2 perfect size for my needs at home easy to understand and operate at a very good price definitely recommend this generator 👍👍
Great Value, Compact and Useful! – This is a great remote power source where a generator is unacceptable, like at a public campground, in our tent at night, running my CPAP machine, providing light and charging two cell phones! The 1000 Wh unit can do that two nights in a row without recharging. I can also say their customer service, whether you have a question or some problem is also exceptional. Dan
Best money I’ve ever spent for my travels – I like to travel and car camp with my dog. This has been my best investment so far, and it’s worth every single penny. I tested put at home first to be sure I knew what I was doing and using, before we hit the road. I recommend buying the carrying bags for added protection. Make sure you read the instructions first, they are very clear and easy to understand. Also be sure you know the wattage of everything you plan to use.
Love it. – Easy to use. I like the fact that it had [ort for both Edson and electronic stuff.. My wife and I both use Cpaps and this device has enough power to run them.
CPAP friendly!! – Worked perfectly for 2 CPAP machines for 2 nights on a single charge. It even had charge left over. I bet it could have gone for 3 nights.
